I've created a link icon to use for the Wayback Machine instead of having to write "Internet Archive", "Wayback Machine" (or both), acronyms (IA, WM, IAWM), etc. Check it out here or at http://tnlc.com/eep/wmicon.gif (1K, 18x16).

Seems the link to the icon has long since gone dead, so I'm reuploading it. I notice the Wayback Machine website's favicon.ico is similar, although squashed and without the black dots on top (which stand for "Internet Archive"). Stupid forum STILL doesn't have the image--it must not like my name (since it puts the ² symbol as "?" and other jarbled mess). Ah well...just get it from my website then, as mentioned above.

I have created a 16x16 version which is here (links no longer work?) and, I think, looks better than the current Wayback Machine favicon.ico.

That's cooL!

I noticed it's 18 pixels wide. Are they supposed to be 16 x 16?

Well, it's 18 pixels wide because it looks better, the letters are 2-pixels wide, and a white border goes around them. It's only 2 pixels more. :P
