As we know, nobody could possibly ever segue as well as the GD. My personal fav is Dark Star > Cumberland from 9.27.72 but the list can go on for a long time

one of my favorites is the Estimated>St.Stephen segue from 06-09-1977 winterland...

the segue from Other One into Wharf Rat on 02-05-1978 is real nice...

of course Dark Star into El paso from Veneta is one of the best...

The NFA>jam>NFA from 09-19-1970

The first song on 5-5-65 to the last one on 7-9-95. The music never stopped.

My favorite segue is the Close Encounters Jam > St Stephen in Eugene 1978, A flawless, effortless trasnsition by Jerry into a Raw primevil St Stephen. I love how he didn't bother with the slow intro and just went straight into the Jam. Just AWESOME!! http://www.archive.org/details/gd78-01-22.sbd.popi.4974.sbeok.shnf

Sublime melding. Perfect. Happens before you even realize it's being done.

Another good one.. The uniqueness of 9-20-1991 Set II Openers, Help > Slip > Fire It's been my favorite, as it was from the first show I listened to fully... after Jerry's passing. It has significance to me. RIP Big Guy..

maybe not the best ever, but this US Blues > Promised Land is a cool little piece of music.

for best ever, I'd probably go with a 73 Dark Star > Dew or a 68 China Cat > 11.
