the only SBD is a bit torrent
best AUD on LMA for this show
Good Afternoon -- the best "live sound" I ever heard was the Grateful Dead, RFK Stadium, June 10, 1973. 8-hour show -- EPIC! 60,000 to 100,000 music lovers. Allman Bros and GD. I taped this show. It is the only complete AUD that has yet to surface. My AUD recording epitomizes the very best of the Grateful Dead "live sound" for the time. The Wall of Sound is nailed by the sound crew and the Dead for this show. Set within an outdoor Stadium, this close-up infield FOB spatially captures sound from the two Aux PA towers on the infield, behind the taper. The sound delay from the Wall of Sound to the Aux PA towers adds a touch of ear candy as it rolls around the stadium. This was by far the best sound fidelity experience I ever heard come out of a PA System, period. It was a sensational orgy of sound. At 5-feet and 8-inches tall, my arm was raised up the entire show. I was holding up my mic on the upper half of a standard mic stand shaft.

latest Charlie Miller SBD on LMA
sweetest AUD you'll ever hear
Good Night -- the most exciting Set of 1973 I heard was on Jerry's birthday. July 31, 1973 -- after midnight. 2 words: MELT DOWN. I taped this show also. There is no SBD on the LMA or a few other places I checked. This AUD is perhaps the very best AUD of the many that Jerry Moore taped. Make sure to catch Phil's solo in one of the sickest versions of Truckin' the Boys ever played. The wall of sound was a bit tinny this night. I had goose-bumps for the entire 2nd set. A Hell's Angels security dude took my tape away from me at the end... and my friend Jimmy Watson went backstage and got it back! It was my birthday that night also -- literally and figuratively.

Gozno_diaries says: "If it wasnt for Jerry flubbing the lyrics (or maybe it was some kinda malfunction) for like a whole minute, I would say this is once of the most well sung 1/2 steps out there. Garcias voice just...I dunno...sounds smooove in it."
nyge says: "Hey guy.... go sit in the corner for 10 minutes! I would give anything to hear Jerry 'fumble' anything. Bob was worst in truckin' and you know what? Everyone laughed. Even them...."
check out the Dick Latvala review I found for this show, posted in a review by Albix714... see attached jpg file
