First of all--hello! New here. I am a peace corps volunteer in Jamaica and thankfully have access to the internet. Unfortunately most of the albums on my iPod are studio albums and I left behind a lot of my live recording CDs. Anyone have any recommendations for downloadable recordings that are at least relatively good quality? Thanks in advance.

There are some decent Auds from March 68 I think (Wineland?), and I defn endorse the 8-6-71 show! Plus, 6-17-75 is available in Aud too, I believe. Sorry, waiting for my coffee or I'd do the work for you to check on these.

Bottom line: as a SBD snob, I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of good AUDs hereabouts. Just follow the suggestions above, and scout around on your own. Always a great feeling to find one.

And welcome aboard!

As I was in the Peace Corp when I heard of Jerry's passing... My humble submission is this:

Boston Garden 9-20-1991

Set II openers... Help > Slip > Fire on the Mountain

Permanently on my MP3-player... It got me through.

While in the Archive music collection, do a search for MOTB or Mouth of the Beast. MOTB is a project dedicated to transfering FOB audience recordings. Good stuff. Here is their site: http://www.motb.org/index.html

This one is so good it has been mistaken for a SBD: http://www.archive.org/details/gd69-05-03.aud.phunk1.73.sbeok.shnf "O come all ye faithful to Winterland"

If you like '69 you will be glad you downloaded this jewel! A+ sound and A+ show. Make sure to check out the introductions. Best sounding aud I've ever heard. Sounds like a great soundboard (w/ exception of the vocals.) Not to talk out of school, but I see today a new MOTB FOB of 12/11/69 went up today at Legs which I hope to be checking out later today.
