Dead Olympics |
Was watching the opening ceremonies in Beijing (the 250 ft long LCD screen laid out on the floor of the stadium was one of the trippier things I've seen in quite awhile) and they opened with a Tom Brokaw piece on the history of China entering the world stage, beginning with Mao's invitation to the U.S. Table Tennis team to come and play in the early 70's. Well, while this played out I noticed a very familiar tune in the background: Chinacat Sunflower. Way to go NBC. There is someone on the staff there with a clue.

Re: Dead Olympics |
Glad you caught that, too. BTW, man dad went to college with and was practically neighbors with Brokaw in Yankton, SD.
