Sugar Mag with Tipper Gore Question????!!!! |
I've listened to the DC Sugar Mag 3 times and really need to clarify things....
Either she is a good percussion player or she was just standing there doing nothing, I can't tell...
That Sugar Mag is REALLY GOOD??!!!
Can someone who was at the show tell me if she was actually jamming on Mickey's drums????!! Cause to my ears it sounds like she was....Now i heard she was a drummer back in High School and has had lessons from Mickey, so she can play I guess..
Any thoughts???

I am guessing that if she was a drummer and had lessons that she can probably keep a simple beat. I doubt you'd notice her if she wasn't up too loud or doing anything outrageous. I was there, and I didn't even realize that there was anyone else on stage.

I have no idea but my "guess" would be that she contributed as much as Linda McCartney did with wings

Re: Sugar Mag with Tipper Gore Question????!!!! |
USA Today rag says Tipper played on Sug Mag.
Big RR Blues, like Jack Straw from the previous show, starts out weakly but it gets going later in the tune. It's passable, w/ nice slide work. Sounds sweet - decent licks. Weir-d ending? I see it both ways. It disappoints on a Jerry musical level, but it's fun to see everyone making the scene and enjoying some good music. Finally some pics are floating around. I thought
this source sounded better of the first upped.
