By no means am I an Althea expert as I don't listen to much past 84', but this Althea is pretty darn good and is from a show with my fav 1st set of the early 80's....

I like a standard one the best, from Without A Net -- thought to have been taken from March 15, 1990.

Thank you sir. Those work just fine. And yes the early years was what I was thinkin about. Someone had a nice one cranking on the huge speakers in the lot at shoreline and I remember thinkin that I had to get me a good one when I get home.

they're ALL good to me. But yeah, the early ones have that mellow feel and nice crisp sound between garcia and Brents keys.
