Forum: movies Subject: Make link to movie at specific frame?
Hey All,

Does anyone know how I might make a link to a movie (on this site) that when you click on the link, will go not only to that movie but will start on a specific frame within that movie?

Thank you for your time.

-Sean

Hello,

One way to do this: you can use the "view thumbnails" link that is on the left hand side of an item in the "View Movie" box.

When you click on this link, you will come to a page like this: http://www.archive.org/movies/thumbnails.php?identifier=Sita_Sings_the_Blues

From here, click on one of the thumbnails, and it will bring you to a specific part of a movie. i.e. http://www.archive.org/details/Sita_Sings_the_Blues?start=879.5

Else, you can just manipulate the URL after "start=" to bring the movie to the correct minute.

Best,
Cara
