Re: The Airing of Grievances and Feats of Strength - cont. |
Democracy Now is an awesome program...great, independent investigative journalism....it nets a teensy weensy fraction of the audience that sits slack-jawed watching Fox "news" (latest grievance: splicing in video of a rally from a month previous and claiming it was the same crowd of "40,000 strong" that was protesting health care reform on the day in question, when the actual crowd was a fraction of what they claimed it was...then doing the same thing, using prior campaign footage from McCain/Palin to show the "thousands" that came out for Palin's book tour--basically, the very definition of propaganda vs. journalism)....
...and just so we're clear, I actually like a number of Fox shows separate from their "news"--including Family Guy, The Simpsons, and the regrettably cancelled "Arrested Development"!

He could have been more clear: there is a huge difference between Fox (Fringe, Simpsons, etc.) and Fox News (Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity). Pretty sure he means Fox News ..
