Ty - I've been meaning to thank you for starting this thread re all the other bands on this site ... this whole LMA site is such a blast with so many things to learn and listen to ... I've even gone out to see some of these bands.. Like Larry Groce says at the end of Mtn Stage : "go out and hear some live music!"

Thanks again.

I should also add I have never heard of Lotus, and only one STS9 show (wasn't for my taste) so not sure if the suggestions will be on your level, but regardless, you asked for good music and a wide taste, so hopefully you dig something in there!

Tyler maybe you need to try a new sound? whats wrong With "HIP HOP" Or R&B Music ? it sell More Than ANY Other Music next To Country Music, So If You Are Looking For Bands Maybe If you Were Not So (1-Dementional) In Your Music Search You Might Find That There Is More Thean You Need. I'd love to hear some R&B / Hip Hop suggestions you have. I love that genre! I never said there was anything wrong with it. In fact in my linked post, I posted about:

"Raul Midon (a blind R&B / soul singer from NYC. Amazing sound and range. one man band but it sounds like 3 people up there) "

I really like De La Soul and James Brown. Outkast has a great sound ... Do you have and suggestions of similar bands on the archive?

Thank you for the link to your internet radio show, I'll try and check it out.

Cheers.

I personally wouldn't have pointed a Lotus fan to the Grateful Dead right off the bat. What do you see as similarities between the two? Thanks for any comparative description based on what you've heard from each!
