No downloads are working. Only streams are functional at present- this goes for all downloads that I can find- music, video, everything.

Okay, here's another thing to try... On the details page under the download options (for non-LMA stuff) there are http and ftp links. Try clicking the http link and then clicking on one of the files you want. Does that work? If so, please post the URL of the file. Thanks!

I'm still getting the same XML error message on *anything* I try to download from any show (e.g., the mission of burma featured show). (this is as of 2/15, 11:27am EST) I haven't changed anything on my system and had no prior problems.

I'm using latest version of Firefox browswer.

I'm using IE, and I just tested on Firefox too: same result. (Win XP here too)

I do notice that the download count on netlabel items is increased everytime I try to get a file (don't know if this is relevant).

Also: I'm in Europe; does that make any difference? (mirror or anything?)

Hmmm. Very strange. Other than the 4 XP security updates installed overnight, i've had not changes to my machine (XP, FF 1.5 browser). Brad and Diana both have no problems but others do. Hmmm, You're both moderators. I wonder if any non-moderators can currently download files without the XML error message? Perhaps ya'll have some special connection software related to official duties.... Seems quite a puzzle, and with so many users having the same problem is unlikely individual machines/setups. But obviously, something has changed.

At work I don't have those new XP security patches installed (don't ask...) and it didn't work there either, so I don't think it has anything to do with that.

If you meant you noticed the problem since after midnight PST, then I expect any real-time period of investigation for engineers has been rather shorter than that. It's only approaching 1 PM in the workday, after all...

My ISP - Roadrunner
Browser- Firefox 1.5 or whatever the newest version is.
OS ----- XP Pro

I got my 1st error message at about 1AM EST

This sucks, as I just found this site, and bought a 110G slave to download these massive files.

The IA received lots of error reports about this over night and this morning and I've only been able to see the error on one item that was just reported about an hour ago. We have an engineer looking at the problem, but in the mean time I'm guessing that some people still can't see revived items because of caching (caching is when your browser loads your old copy of a page to save you time instead of loading a new page from the server).

I would recommend that any item you're trying to access that you're still seeing an issue with, please try hitting F5 to force refresh the page (load the page from our server instead of your cache). If that doesn't work, try looking at the item with &reCache=1 on the end of the URL.

So, if the item is at:
http://www.archive.org/details/radarmen1
Try looking at:
http://www.archive.org/details/radarmen1&reCache=1

Please post your experience here, we are paying attention! Thanks.
