Another shout out for Albany. The best I have encounter hands down. If you can find one, check out Hornsby doing Loser with his band. Some good stuff.

I have to agree. Hornsby does great work with Loser. Did you catch his solo tour this fall? It was great and he handed out his box set to each ticket holder. Very nice gesture.

Going tomorrow night in malibu CA. Front row center and pretty psyched about it. First time seeing him solo after years of catching his band.

You'll have a great time. My wife and I have seen his band a number of times too. We were just talking about that solo show last weekend. It felt like he invited you into his home and was playing and casually chatting with us. Capacity at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, OR is 620. We were 2/3 of the way back on the 1st floor and it still had an intimate feel. With your front row center seats you're going to feel like your sitting on the bench with him. Enjoy yourself!

I have cd's from a show in 2001 at the Oregon Zoo Amphitheater. It was my 31st bday. Good recording, nice setlist, and super fun all around. Let me know if you want a copy.
