Forum: forums Subject: Suggestion for Wayback Machine: “compatible view”

When browsing the Wayback Machine through a virtual machine running an operating system released a long time ago, it encounters issues.

My suggestions:

• Allow users to access the pre-2011 Wayback Machine website layout via “old-web.archive.org” or “oldweb.archive.org”.
• Compatible version of “show subpages” (i.e. web.archive.org/web/*/example.org/* ) that does not use AJAX, like the Wayback Machine did in 2013.(That version had client-sided pagination, however pagination was only activated when the browser suppported JavaScript. Otherways, it just showed all URLs on a single page.)
