The Jerry G Trio. |
So, according to Donna, Keith jammed with Jerry first. Then Bill showed up because Jerry thought Keith had the chops, and the jams continued. My kind of trio. Any chance this was recorded and tapes made?

Re: The Jerry G Trio. |
To your question, no.
The band rehearsals w/ Keith in September of '71 are as close as we get. There's a wonderful photo in David Gans' book Playing in the Band of the guys taking a break during these sessions. They're outside with an elevated freeway behind and above them, with a cement mixer passing by..

I believe it was a quartet. Jerry, Keith, Donna and the unlucky cat that was to be abused...over and over and over...
Sorry, It's been awhile since I've been able to work in a Donna Cat Screech reference.

You spelled "soul rending acoustic water-board caterwauling" wrong.
Methinks.
