Are there any plans to scan early copies of Rolling Stone? I'm keen to research areas of late-1960s and 1970s social history that either weren't covered by mainstream media or weren't given the depth of cover that Rolling Stone encouraged their journalists to go into.
I know there's already a scanned Rolling Stone archive available at certain libraries but my local library doesn't have access.
Many thanks

A. There may be collectors there who have not digitized their materials.
B. They like to reminisce about that time period.
As someone who's mid 60's to mid 70's social circles were not accurately covered in the mainstream media I wish you luck. I will say that the Kent State murders caused many of us to become reclusive and still are a bit wary.

Thanks for your reply, I remember Kent State very clearly, the complete sense of disbelief and outrage it caused. I'll do as you suggest and drop by the Grateful Dead forum.
