Great day in history gig today. Shoreline 1991. I'm very high on this show. The They love each other is included on the dvd from Hornsby's box set. I still feel 1991 was an awesome year and this is another example of it.

Thanks Ashes... Some very tasty vintage '91! I needed a little break from May 77, well till sunday anyhow... The Grateful Dead were always and will always be GREAT in my book, and this is some mighty fine GD! Hell, I can't do anything in my 50's like I could in my 20 & 30's... Oh, the wisdom thing, can't forget that, like it's worth anything ;) What is it about Boston shows anyway??? Tomorrow night? Me needs a 68 - 69 fix... :) edit; Or maybe this right now for lullaby time... http://www.archive.org/details/gd68-06-19.sbd.cotsman.4511.sbeok.shnf

Was listening to this myself today. I'm glad to hear someone else mention 91. I feel it is a VERY under rated year. How can anyone miss what Hornsby brought?

Streaming now for first time - up thru Walkin' Blues and I must say Hornsby sounds very good, as does the rest of the band. I'm usually very, very hesitant to venture into anything in the '90s.

we seem to have some similar tastes there Devil so I need to tell you not to totally discount 91. For instance 6-25-91 Kansas - some impeccible playing. The He's Gone > Jam? Beautiful. The Denver show three days later isn't too shabby either imo. Also there's the Oct.-Nov. Oakland run that is some of their best imo.

OK. Thanks for the same. Most of my listening is streaming at work and it's usually thru an interesting show on this date, one that someone mentions/links, or staring at me as a 5 star review when I come to the page.

I could give about 20 shows but the Bonner springs and oakland gigs mentioned by the folks is a great way to start. Also night 2 at Giant Stadium in June is a beast
