There ain't nobody here at all
So quiet yourself and stop that fuss
There ain't nobody here but us
Kindly point that gun the other way
And hobble, hobble hobble off and hit the hay!

Back in the mid1970s I used to go see Zorro and the Blue Footballs often in Dallas, Texas. They were based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They always put on a good show and brought the house down with this song. We lost the lead singer, Windy Austin a few years ago. RIP.

We chickens tryin' to sleep,
And you butt in
And hobble, hobble hobble hobble
With your chin

I can't think of any GD or offshoots covering Louis Jordan. Searchin' and Big Boy Pete are the closest to that style that I can recall.
