I am saddened by Jerry Moore's passing. I had the pleasure recently to have met Jerry for the first time over at Lossless Legs. Jerry, Rob Berger and myself chatted about taping equipment for a few moments. This was a joy and very interesting to me since I am an old and retired taper myself. Thankfully Jerry lived through many, many moments of joy as countless thousands of us have enjoyed his recordings. Hands-down, my most highly-prized Jerry Moore recording is GD - July 31,1973 - Roosevelt Stadium. There is no SBD for this date. Jerry Garcia's b'day is at midnight. Set 2 is the meltdown after that moment.

Appreciate the link - I know I've seen his name all over the archive, but I can't say that I'm 'familiar' with his work. Good recording of an unknown 1973 (unknown to me, recovering SB snob)? I am so there ...
