"Obscure" obviously is a relative term, though I'm not sure how applicable it remains to Grateful Dead shows (certainly not to either of the Dream Bowl performances), with almost everything that has traded catalogued here and at one's fingertips. Still there is some music that has circulated at one time or another that is not achived here. I would consider much of that obscure. It is available if you know where to look, and all you have to do is ask.

There certainly are some performances from 1969 that fly under the radar of many folks, but usually there is a reason for this (poor sound quality, sketchy musicianship, brevity, etc.) These shows garner little attention in this community, however each is worth listening to if you are an afficionado of the early era...

I certainly wouldn't call this Vegas show obscure, it was available as a commercially released bootleg at one point. It has major pitch issues and other sonic anomalies. I don't think the Grateful Dead felt comfortable at this venue, but it's certainly worth checking out. Particularly Dark Star and The Eleven:

There are several bad cuts and quite a bit of hiss, however this Tuscon performance is interesting for the Main Ten Jam during Dark Star. Further evidence that the music attributed to 6/19/68 is actually from 1969:

Again, not obscure, but this interesting performance has only relatively recently been available here. Sound quality is quite good:

Ditto for this fine performance:
