I really enjoy 1984-07-13.

Though my favorite might well be 1978-12-31 (or 1979-01-01 depending on how you look at it). I find that version to be top notch, and I don't think any 80's versions hold a candle to it.

that's a good one but too short imo to put it up there with the 3 i posted. they only do the first verse and not enough jamming in a ds for me.

maybe not as long, but I think its got the best 10 minutes. not to mention the following other one is equally special and sinister.

Those are all mighty fine for post '74, but I always go to 10/9/89 for that fix. http://www.archive.org/details/gd1989-10-09.sbd.miller.80840.sbeok.flac16 It's this listener's opinion that the first half of that 2nd set is about as psychedelic and primal as the band ever got in the Brent era.
