[audio][ffs134] C.A.Sinclair - Grauer Schnee - C.A.Sinclair
Christopher Sinclair from Vienna, Austria. All the sounds were produced with a Gameboy and then processed live through a Kaoss Pad, a mixer and a laptop. The result is low bass pulses, clipping noise and bleeps, with some buried beats

[audio]C.A. Sinclair - Zetatene (ca123) - C.A. Sinclair
"My latest album under my own name (C.A. Sinclair) is called Zetatene, and consists of edited/remixed improvised pieces I made using mostly my laptop running custom software I made with PD (Pure Data). Sound-wise, it goes into a bit of a glitch/noise direction and the sound is very "raw" most of the time with lots of harsh granular sampling and stuff. Structurally, I was particularly interested in the kind of "accidental rhythms" you get through looping or LFOs and in "song-like", progressive st...

[audio]C.A. Sinclair - Bells (ca185) - C.A. Sinclair
Bells was entirely made in real time (plus some editing) on my computer using my own software. Both of its tracks use a Tibetan temple cymbal as the main sound source. The first track, "Bells I" is a more formalistic exploration of the cymbal sound itself, without taking its "cultural context" into account. The second track "Look Into The Rising Sun", uses percussion and guitar samples along with the cymbals and has a more "eastern" or "exotic" sound." C.A...

[audio]Snapshots - C.A. Sinclair
Austrian laptop musician C.A. Sinclair (also releasing under his project name SSH Visor) composed the pieces that make up Snapshots on a holiday in the Austrian countryside using exclusively a software called HighC, which emulates/simulates Iannis Xenakis's UPIC device. These 23 semi-abstract electronic miniatures, drawing equally from ambient, glitch and early electropop are meant to evoke quick impressions of landscapes...

[audio][VNN-006] Indra - C.A. Sinclair
Indra is an improvised recording made using a just laptop, a contact-miked Indian drum and a delay pedal. It's named after the Vedic god of war and weather, and, as such, is an expression of raw emotion and subconscious mindsets as much as a "serious", exploratory electroacoustic records. It incorporates elements of psychedelic music, harsh noise, glitch, ambient and more.
