This recording is very rough. It was recorded with terrible equipment by plugging a four track into the back of the computer as a mixer and recorded completely with freeware. The vocals are sung in an asthmatic wheeze over distorted guitars, harpsichords, kotos, home organ percussion, Nintendos, hip-hop beats, and Mellotrons among others... "Spiral of Silence" opens the EP with a lengthy display of atmosphere. The recording is very lo-fi. The main body of the song is proceeded and concluded by the wisdom of Richard Nixon. "Minstrel of Dissolution" was planned to be recorded for Phylum but was never recorded. A few demos exist of this as well as an alternate version of what is on Subordinate Collectivity... After much work, he did succeed and upon leaving his basement found out that Edison had already invented and patented the light bulb. I don't know the truth of this but this release is a similar case. For two years, Illusion of Art attempted to write a soundtrack to this movie...
