A young Carmelite nun in Lisieux, France was asked by her Mother Superior to write down the story of her life. She obeyed, and her simple but deep spirituality -- the "Little Way" -- has encouraged many people to deepen their relationship with God. St. Therese of Lisieux (Therese Martin) died at the age of 24. She has been named one of the thirty-three Doctors of the Church, for the profoundness of her teachings.
