[movies]Pirates vs. Ninjas vs. Zombies vs. Robots - Rob Northrup
Another meme thought to have originated on the internets is revealed to have much older roots, thanks to the recent discovery of this trailer for the 1936 Republic Pictures feature "Pirates vs. Ninjas vs. Zombies vs. Robots." Or it could be a mashup of public domain movies I finished last night. WATCH bitter enemies battle without appearing on screen at the same time! SEE the forbidden love of a pirate for a zombie! DON'T MISS Boris Karloff as Col...

[movies]Kill the Undead - Voltage/Schloonktapooxis
A movie made in "The Movies". Keep in mind limitations and that I'm not that great an editor. It's a homage a little to the Dead series, note the Flyboy lookalike costume and the random antagonist. There will be two more now because I thought this was a cool zombie movie and it was made for fun so enjoy.

[movies]1949 episode of the TV series "Captain Video"
Rare 1949 episode of the TV series "Captain Video and His Video Rangers", considered by many to be the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of Classic TV. The show is about a "Space Captain" and his "Video Ranger" who must the galaxy from the evil Dr. Pauli. Low production values, bad acting and bad writing combine to create a very surreal TV show. The show was live, which would explain the missed cues. It's believed most of the master prints were destroyed after the show was cancelled...

[movies]Joy Ride - an Auto Theft
This cautionary tale was aimed towards young, thrill-seeking teens. The exciting car chase at the end of the film may have glamorized joy-riding to students more than actually demonize it. If nothing else, the film reveals the primary perpetrator of auto thefts - bored, horny boys.
