This is (finally) the brand new work by Greg Fox, a first response to Edward O Wilson's "Consilience", Richard Dawkins' "Unweaving The Rainbow", Jared Diamond's "The Third Chimpanzee" and Steven Pinker's "How The Mind Works". | (Trying to avoid) Saturn Distraction - Greg Fox
The C-side to "Carmen of the Spheres" - a 29-minute aural planetary model based on the sound of Saturn's moons orbiting, from the perspective of 'someone' on Saturn. Interestingly, of the nine largest moons selected for this piece, Phoebe orbits *backwards*. To implement this, I've reversed the order of the durations whilst preserving the ascending octave succession (for more about the method, see "Carmen of the Spheres")...
