On 27 May 2007 Rattleshack performed a set of original songs on The Beach 99.4fm, a community radio station on Waiheke Island. The Silver Scrolls are New Zealand's top song writing award. The awards are organised by APRA, the Australasian Performing Rights Association. They recognise songwriting, rather than commercial achievement. Songs are nominated and voted on by APRA members, meaning the winner is truly a selection of peers.
