Created in 1998, on a 4 track, in Glasgow. Mixed it down quickly as I only had a loan of the 4 track, but I still have the original tapes. I did artwork and demo tape layout in an MS publisher file as it was meant to be a first demo of me as a solo artist. I'll copy over this file at some point if I can dig it out.

This is another composition of the album "Breakfast for a day". Pure guitar and a voice recorded with the guitar pick up. This session was taped at Cake Studios London in connection with the opening of my first art-exhibition. Paintings and sound-installations are combined within the "Breakfast for a day" concept. Leaving ones home driven by fear and desperation. " ... everywhere it is better than here ..." was the motivation behind " Breakfast for a day".

| Brandau feat. DIAL ::::: Pacifica (single cut) - Brandau featuring J. Ham and R. Smith (DIAL)
The recording was done analog, combining conventional instruments such as a Fender Strat.(Jacqui Ham), bass/tapes (Brandau) and drums (Rob Smith). In the mix I used a lot of pedals, echos and my mixing desk, made cutups / samples of some livesounds with a little SU10 and arranged a complete new track: Pacifica. This is old school improvisation with analog sounds edited and mastered in the digital age...
