During our recording sessions with rockoutfit Thomas one day ended up playing around with the piano-samples we had taken for "Disclaimer" and came up with this loop that later became "Speedstar". Though we were not thinking of maintaining What's Left at that time it just seemed to fit.

| Rockoutfit -- You Are What's Happening Baby (Demo) - Rockoutfit
Rockoutfit started as a band (formerly famous as 125, rue montmarte) but we soon found out that we wanted to merge songwriting as a band and producing in terms of electronic music so we spent two years in rehearsal rooms and my bedroom studio never playing live. We ended up having this great demo (it is!) but heavily struggling with the effects of neglecting the rock-side of the band, so we kind of split (I think the band is in sleep-mode as of now) and I moved to Berlin.

Today Tokyo Trauma gets five years old. Time to indulge in reminiscence a little. The Technopanda in Steinhagen near Bielefeld actually was my bedroom, which of course was packed with instruments and other noisy devices. The "Melody Ram" and the "What's Left"- ep had been produced there. Every friday after rockoutfit rehearsal Thomas needed a place to stay and so we spent like every friday night together...
