This video shows an immature Carolina Mantis (Stagmomantis carolina) feeding on a tettigonid cricket. The feeding process is shown, from beginning to end, as the mantid eats the entire cricket. Post-feeding grooming behavior and use of parallax are also shown. This is a macro view of the process.

| Learned avoidance of milkweed bugs by jumping spiders - David Edwin Hill
This publication documents the results of research completed in 1979 on the subject of the ability of jumping spiders (Araneae, Salticidae, Phidippus audax) to detect and to avoid distasteful milkweed bugs (Oncopeltus fasciatus). It is noteworthy that learned avoidance is relatively short-lived for "hungry" spiders.
