	Luciftias- Constant 22 [treetrunk075] - Luciftias "Constant 22" has its roots in a chorale by J. S. Bach. The four vocal parts were programmed instead of sung with the resulting recording being further stretched and manipulated. Lastly, the entire piece has been enhanced with brainwave synchronization. When using headphones to listen to the recording, the left and right channels will, at first, appear to be somewhat "out of sync". I broke it into pieces, and then rearranged them into a new version. After completing this newly arranged version, I output the entire mix to a hardware synthesizer and treated it with effects in real-time. Like the original, it is based on space travel, and the idea of taking personal objects on space trips-- contraband. This practice has been widespread, apparently, though not condoned by authorities. 	Mystified- Mystified Live [treetrunk089] - mystified On August 1, 2009 at 4 AM Central U.S. time, mystified made their first official live performance on WDBX Carbondale FM, 91.1. Thomas recorded the session, which was a generative bell drone, continuously shifting and never twice the same. It has the sound of a huge explosion in very slow motion-- or like an expanding cloud pattern or puff of exhaust. Treetrunk Records thinks it fits in perfectly here. Hot geyser sprays erupt and fizzle before giving way to a deep earth-moving rumble with an intermittent crackling, as of a fire. "Reverse Eruption" is a longform generative piece that came about as the result of my experimenting with audio software. I set the starting parameters for a series of delays, oscillators, and other effects, let the system run until it became imperceptibly quiet, and this wrote itself...
