Haul Ass was the first album by the Australian electronic group Severed Heads after a split from standard labels and distribution. The band had worked with the Nettwerk label in Canada for some years, when the latter decided to move into mainstream music, SH began self publishing under the sevcom.com banner. For various anarchic reasons the band decided to hand make the CD. Several thousand copies were made in this way...

'Co Kla Coma' was the working name of a collaboration between 2 groups - Severed Heads from Australia and The Fifth Way Militia, originally from Tulsa OK. This was the third album recorded in a studio in the 'Jewel Box' district of Santa Cruz, CA where T5WM relocated in the late 1990's.
