[audio]Happy Birthday to the London Science Museum (live Mac duet) - Angela Brett
A 'live' recording of my Macs singing happy birthday to celebrate the centenary of the London Science Museum, with my PowerBook G4 singing as Vicki and my new MacBook Pro singing as Alex. You can see a video of this, including setup and out-of-sync practice run, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Aw2kg2D06c This was inspired by a video of three robots singing happy birthday for the London Science Museum's centenary, which you can see at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8_-McoAriI

[audio]The Future Soon (Cyborg Remix) - Angela Brett
A cover of Jonathan Coulton's 'The Future Soon' in which Jonathan's singing is replaced by two different MacInTalk voices at appropriate places in the song, so that he sounds more and more robotic. For more information on how it was made, see http://angelabrett.wordpress.com/2009/10/13/the-future-soon-cyborg-remix/. For more music by Jonathan Coulton, see http://jonathancoulton.com

[audio]You've gotta be happy (demo) - Angela Brett
A happy song I wrote as a shadow entry for Quick Stop Entertainment's 'Masters of Song Fu' competition, and also as part of my 'Writing Cards and Letters' project. I went all out and added some instrumentals to this one: a triangle. Lyrics and more information can be found at http://angelabrett.wordpress.com/2009/02/16/four-of-diamonds-youve-gotta-be-happy/

[audio]Pretender (demo) - Angela Brett
This song was written as part of my 'Thing a Week' project. I spent most of the weekend writing some software to get my Mac's speech synthesis to sing in the tune I played on my MIDI keyboard, then found that I didn't have much time left to write something. Jeff MacDougall (http://jeffmacdougall.com) had recently purchased FourTrack for his iPhone and used it to record a song about FourTrack while waiting in a traffic jam, so I followed his example and wrote a quick song to exploit my new toy...
