[movies]Wizards & Warriors 3 (NES) - 17:53 (US version, emulated run) - Ferret Warlord
The premise: Soon after the conflict between Kuros and Malkil in Ironsword, Malkil gets right back up and the two fight again for a bit. In the quarrel, Kuros is knocked out and the Ironsword is lost. Malkil, in order to recuperate, heads to the city of Piedup and overthrows the king. Kuros, in his subsequent wanderings, also comes across Piedup, so once again the two are engaged in conflict. This game is much, much different from its more famous predecessors...

[movies]A Boy and His Blob (NES) - 3:37 (US version, emulated speedrun) - Frank Amoroso (aka. TheAxeMan)
This is an often overlooked famous game. Here we have a boy and a "blob" that likes all kinds of candies. When the blob eats these candies, it transforms into different tools the boy can use. Note: The Japanese version of this game (Fushigina Blobby - Blobania no Kiki) has a different boy than this USA version, but otherwise the games are the same. Again this is a new record time. To quote hopper's comment: "Just when you thought this game couldn't get any weirder."

[movies]Addams Family - 14:46 (US version, emulated run) - Hans Olsson (aka. Walker Boh)
This timeattack is about Addams Family, but not the Fester's Quest one. This is really the seventh version, and the first published version. Note: This movie may not look cool, but the player is not to be blamed. The game is a little bad. You have to avoid objects by afar if you don't want to get hit, and you really have to collect $1M to complete the game. In my opinion Hans has done very good job perfecting this movie.

Author's comments: Addams Family time!! My previous run was the first time attack I made. And today (or maybe in a week or two) it's one year since I started to time attack games. A year of time attacking gives some experience :D I don't know why but I like this game. Maybe because it's pretty fun to search the different areas in the house and collecting various stuff. Some word of the game maybe. You play as Gomez who is gonna save his wife (or whatever) from that evil dude in the basement...

Bayou Billy's girlfriend has been kidnapped by Gordon, the crime boss of the swamps, and Billy's out for some revenge. Despite consisting mostly of side-scrolling combat stages, THE ADVENTURES OF BAYOU BILLY is cool because it also contains racing and shooting levels. The american version is a lot harder than the japanese one(Mad City). In this video, it doesn't seem so.

[movies]The Adventures of Rad Gravity (NES) - 17:51 (US version, emulated run) - Torfi Gunnarsson (aka. Blublu)
Here's my Rad Gravity run. I must give thanks to Spoony Bard. Without his first version, I would never have been motivated enough to make this run. My general route is basically the same, but with lots of optimizations in each level. I discovered that the disk that allows you to fly isn't actually neccesary. However, it does allow for a nice shortcut. I only need to use it once, so I only get two energy tanks (it costs two full energy tanks to use it)...

Altered Beast is a game that looks like it could have been found in an arcade playing machine. In each level, the player must beat collect 3 powerups in order to transform into a powerful beast and fight the boss of that level. This game was one of the first games of the Sega Genesis system. Note from author: Now I have finally improved this. Peoples seems to enjoy this movie and I can't really understand why ;) anyways, here we go. I have intended to improve this a long time now because my current version looks like a piece of junk actually. It's somewhat sloppy and clumsy. First a few words about the game before I go on. After all, he's the hero, and heroes are supposed to be invincible. In just a month after making the awesome 9:32 Batman movie, Jecy has found ways to improve the time by another 8 seconds! [movies]Battle of Olympus (NES) - 19:52 (US version, emulated run) - Jeff C (aka. Arc)
Battle of Olympus improved by 3:33. I'll try to only talk about the most important points: The main thing to talk about is olive collection. 60 olives have to be collected to buy the ocarina. Instead of devoting time to collecting them like Jackic did, I just collected them along the route. Therefore, the AVI plays 16.7% too fast. The real completion time should be 12:03, not 10:02. But even noting that, this is an improvement of almost two minutes over the previous movie by Exim.
