Aileen Stanley broke into Broadway in 1920 and remained a very popular stage performer throughout that decade. She became so well-known as a recording artist that she was sometimes billed as "The Phonograph Girl". In the early 1930s she moved to England, where she continued to record for several more years. "All By Myself" was recorded on May 16, 1921. From the original 78rpm disk.

Jim Jackon was a blues 'songster' who worked the tent shows & vaudeville circuit in the 20's. Oh' What A Time is a romp of a song with risque lyrics & was obviously the template for Bob Dylan's 'I Shall Be Free' from on the Freewheelin' Bob Dylan album. It was recorded around 1930, seven years before his death. Enjoy!
