Started off as as an instrumental then Deadman showed up unexpectedly and this was one of the first new songs in about 8 years I think.... recorded on cassette 4 track with Boss Dr Rythm drum machine bass and guitar and cheap keyboards and 8 bit sampling somehow smashed into 4 tracks...

| Ambient Minimal - Digi Hartatak
The last time I did a song that mentioned minimal everyone complained and said it was too busy so I decided to build a song on only two notes. I dumbed down the bassline as much as I could without having a seizure and fought to keep only 2 voices for most of the song. I could not stop myself from adding the synth solo at the end and the piano triads which added another 4 notes. As for the ambient part, I used recent field recordings that I just added to Freesound over an almost drone like intro...

The last song produced with the old Voyetra software before the studio converts to Reaper. Deadman is back on vocals over heavy guitar, bass and percussion by Digi Hartatak. The mix at the end is all jacked but I don't care. From now on all new songs will be mixed and mastered in one program with better processing, less glitches and more control of the process.
