	Rad Gravity (NES) - 16:48 (US version, emulated run) - Torfi Gunnarsson (aka. Blublu) Here's my Rad Gravity run. I must give thanks to Spoony Bard. Without his first version, I would never have been motivated enough to make this run. My general route is basically the same, but with lots of optimizations in each level. I discovered that the disk that allows you to fly isn't actually neccesary. However, it does allow for a nice shortcut. I only need to use it once, so I only get two energy tanks (it costs two full energy tanks to use it)... Sometimes he attacks late and you can run by him without stopping to kill him or getting hit, but it seems random. Taking a hit isn't much slower than killing him, so I just hoped he would attack late and save me time... 	River City Ransom (NES) - 09:00 (US version, emulated run) - Richard U (aka. Sleepz) A well done run of River City Ransom, much of the enjoyment comes from seeing the author run as quickly as possible by all the minor gang members, only to reach and completely annihilate the bosses necessary to complete the game. 	Rockman (NES) - 23:12 (Jp version, emulated speedrun) - Michiel Sikma - Michiel Sikma This is the final version of my speedrun of Rockman, which I initially started making for a competition on Bisqwit's site (http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/). It went through a lot of revisions, both in tactics and in route, but this is as good as I could make it as of April 20th 2005. Maybe a run that's under 23 minutes will be accomplished someday (it's possible!), but it probably won't be me who will make it... 	RockMan X4 (PS) - 100% 0:58:55 as Zero - Kelvin Wong - Kelvin 'Veritech' Wong Single-segment all-items run of the Japanese version of Mega Man X4 as Zero done on August 5 2004. Author's comments: This is the first time I have ever made a run, and I got the inspiration to make this one after seeing the run performed by Jonathan Fields. It uses almost the same path as his, with a few differences to accomodate for the extra items needed along the way, particuarly the EX-Tank. 	Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike (GCN) 0:28:03 as Wedge with Specials - Andres Montalbetti - Andres 'Mad Andy' Montalbetti Speed run of Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike as Wedge with Special weapons/upgrades done on June 13 2005. Author's comments: This run of rebel strike is the 3rd run I've done and definately much better than the others. I initially did a run which wasn't very good. The run suffered from bad mistakes and just plain horrible strats. I've had 2 other goes at this game, first one which had quite a lot of mistakes, and then this one... 	Rush 'n Attack (NES) - 09:41 (US version, emulated run) - Jeff C (aka. Arc) It's a rare 'one player controls both characters' movie. It looks cooler and is 10.45 seconds faster than the previous movie. The two main tasks in this game are to prevent the shooters from firing and to avoid ladders, which the character automatically will grab. The red guy's goal is to run forward. The blue guy's goal is to help the red guy run forward. Neither guy dies. In this game everyone runs around menacingly and bullets fly slower than a regular housecat runs. 	Rush'n Attack (NES) - 0:09:53 - Jim Hanson - Jim Hanson Speed run of Rush'n Attack, done on January 21 2007. Available in five versions: low/normal quality DivX, and normal/high/low quality H.264 MPEG-4. Author's comments: I'd like to say thanks to Mike for all of the tips he gave me. One of the hardest things about playing Rush 'n Attack is the fact that you have to push up on the D-pad to jump. It's way too easy to accidentally push up while pushing right or left... 	Rygar (NES) - 07:52 (Europe version, emulated run) - Hans Olsson (aka. Walker Boh) This movie completes the PAL Rygar with only one item: the grappling hook. And what an awesome movie it is: it demonstrates as many glitches of the game as possible. Some of the glitches save time radically, some save a little of time, and some don't save time at all but just look cool. It uses death as a shortcut, but in contrary to the usual, this death does not put Rygar backwards in the game, but instead warps him forward by a couple of levels...
