'Bioluminescence' - Achingly heartfelt beautiful lushness. 3. 'MVJ' - Intense pads that twist and tweak the heartstrings. Recorded from 1999 - 2001

We have for you a wonderful piece of electronica from newcomers Bentley & Strange. The syncopated rhythm and the pulsing bass lifts you from the outset, with a beautiful delayed line defining the way and the blissful warmth of the pads drawing you in further. All topped off with a sensual voice emitting only a simple, singular instruction......

We are proud to present a full length release from our esteemed friend EHMES. This is an album full of beautifully evolving textures and rhythms. From the outset of the warm bassline of 'The Black Bullet' to the harsh jungle style drums of 'Parting On The Square' to the lushness in the final piece 'Long Time No See', Ehmes delivers a musical collage of life in New York and beyond. Encompassing warm electronics, harsh distorted drums and flickering, intricate jazz rythyms, you will not failed to be moved by the feeling captured by this talented musician. *Leonard Way - features Winston Manion on drums.

3 lush electronica tunes from Norwegian artist, LAZE. Laze, (or Lasse Johnsen) has been heavily involved with Soulseek Records, taking part in their famed, "One Minute Massacre" series. This ep opens with the deep detroit feeling of "Androids Forever". With its warm bass and swirling pads, this has classic written all over it. "Blue Tones" keeps the paces flowing with it's entrancing arpeggios and laid back drums. "Plasmatron" finishes the e.p. off well, opening with it's catchy delayed organ line before it sweeps upwards with solid rhythms, interlacing melodies sweetly. Laze now records as Ears Akimbo

We have a new release from respected Ohio artist 'Algorhythm'. He has released mp3's before on Kikapu and currently has a CD release called 'The Contingency EP' available through NoLogo Records (which was also jointly released as mp3's on Kikapu). There is an excellent review of the 'Contingency' EP over at StaticBeats.com. 'I Caught It [and let it go mix]' is a remix of a Jizzelo track that is "about being cold and alone in the winter time. you get sad and dreamy, but there is always room for hope". The original track can be downloaded from Jizzellos page at Kikapu.

Here we have 4 tracks from Edinburgh based artist Zucotic. Opening with Setting 80's, a driving funky piece of electronica, simplisticly built but no less effective in its infectiveness. A Chance Of Happiness takes things deeper with swirling organ lines, pounding drums and an edgy feel We head back into funky territory again with GoH-VoH. Sliding between slack and intense phases, the whole piece is topped with an intense twisted vocal melody reminiscient of The Art Of Noise. The ep comes to a close with Aarons Ice Cream Dream. A vanilla flavoured, strings led excursion!

We offer as our latest release "Piano Versions" from Yorkshire based artist, Twocker. Twocker explains what "Piano Versions" are about...... Piano versions is a minimalist collection of ideas. Each track represents one studio technique pushed to what i like to call "pleasing extremes". For example, Dealey is made up of a five chord loop treated to a massive amount of short delay times. Fliter is a massive chord stab put through a single frequency band, peda; is some very long chords with the attack removed, and Sloe is a tribute to reverse reverb. Piano Versions was delivered in June 2003. I was present at it's birth, the theatre being pro-tools, the midwife being audiosuite and a single GRM plug in. It's two mothers can be found, slightly out of tune, in the dungeons of De Montfort University's Music Technology suite.

We continue on our more ambient phase with a collection of music from Seattle based musican, Ricemutt Ricemutt [aka John Fisher] says this about them: "This is my album for my girlfriend, "For Elisa" I wrote these songs all for her while she was away on vacation. Most of the sounds were played by her brother, Patrick. He played alto saxophone and contra-alto clarinet for me; mostly one shot samples. At the risk of sounding sappy or corny; these songs are very much about love and the different feelings it evokes..."

We have our latest release from Swedish artist, Mikael Lind. Mikael says about After Summer Comes Fall....... "I started the making of this album after a 5 month visit to Iceland and I guess that some of the concerts I saw there inspired me. I was also listening to some older electronica albums and thought that they had something warm about them that I found was missing in the electronica that was released after 2000." With a crystaline edge yet retaining a deep warmth, ASCF starts out with the glitchy melodic funk of 'CupboardXXX', through the warm icicle pop of 'Heatwave', to the deep laidback grooves of 'Already Useless' and finishing with a childlike, simple but beautiful piano piece, 'En Stilla Höstag', this is a 45 minute excursion into a beautiful landscape.
