It  is  intended  to  provide  ship  medical 
departments  and  line  leadership  with  the  tools

respond  to  a  suspected  COVID-19  Persons  Under 
Investigation  (PUI),  and  to  mitigate  potential 
spread,  especially 

in  the  first  hours  and  days  after  identification. 

California  had  a  total  of  14  cases  of  COVID-19, 
none  reported  in  San  Diego,  but  6  cases  in  LA.
