GENERAL  ORDERS,  \  WAR  DEPARTMENT, 

l  Adjutant  General’s  Office, 

No.  32.  )  Washington ,  June  15,  18G1. 

I.  -From  the  date  of  this  order  Officers  entitled  to  forage,  will 
receive  the  amount  authorized  during  a  state  of  War. 

II.  -The  uniform  and  dress  of  the  Signal  Officer  will  be  that  of  a 
Major  of  the  General  Staff.
