" Dwivedi Park and Library " The Samiti Las
been formed to erect & suitable memorial tu
the father of modern Hindi Prose the late
Acharya Mahabir Frasad Dwividi, who waa
born in this district; to erect a cultural centre
for the development of literary and musical
talents, folk lore and drama; and to establish
a children's park, and district museum. A
good beginning has been made since April
1952 and Rs.9,000 have been spent so far in
Rae Bareli City, and Rs.2,500 in Daulatpur
for the purpose. A. sum of Ra.20,000 wilt
be the minimum required to equipfuUy the
cultural centre consisting of museum, library,
leading room, children's park and to pro-
vide a nucleus for study and research in the
traditions of the national as well as the local
Baiswari language.
