mission of the Return by thn prescribed date. In future l-gal
action will be* taken against the office? bearers of the Union, under
section 31 of the Indian Trad? Unions Art, 1926, in the event of
recurrence of such a default.

WHEBDAS Municipal Karmchan Union. Kanpur, whiuh is regis-
tered as a Trade Union under no. 17:2 of 1051-52, has failed to sub-
mit necessary papers required with its annual return for the yenr
1952-53, although the Secretary nf th? Uninn was remnmpd in'this
TPapept. vide thw office letters dated March 10, 1B34, Apnl 22, Ifi54.
and July 24, 19-54, and regfistprpd acknowledgment du.Blpttei,
dated September 27, 1034, nnd it has thus committed n "breach of
section 31(1) of the Indvn Trade Unions Act. lf)26. Thi- also
indicates that the Union ha» nnw roamed to exist-.

2. And whereas the a]-oviJin>-utioned Union had also Lontravfn

to the undersigned its annual return for the year ending on March
31, 1954, by July 31, 1954, the date prescribed by regulation 17 of
the Begtfations framed under tho Indian Trade Unions Act, 1120,
a notice under section 10(6) of the said Act was issued to the said
Union to show cause, within two months of thn service of the notice.
Why the certificate of its registration should not be cancelled. Thn
period of the notice expired on January IS, 1935- The annual
return for the year described above has not he -n funmhed even

Secretary, Sri Shiva Pnsad are also hereby warned that this time
only the registration certificate of the Union is cancelled for non-

legal action will be taken against the office bearers of the Union,

31, 1954, the data prescribed by regulation 17 of the Regulations!
framed undsr the Indian Trade Unions Act. 1926, a, notice under
aaction 10(&J of the snid Act was issued to the said Union to show
cause, within two months of the R-jrviee of the notice, why the
certiecattf of ita registration should not be cancelled. The period
of the notice expired on February 24, 1053. The annual return
for the year described above hao not been famished even up to
this date.

10(b) of the Indian Trade Unions Act, 1926.

The President of the Union, Sri Prithvi Xath Bhargava, and the

the undersigned its annual return for the year ending on March 31,
J9o4 by July 31, 1054, the date prescribed by regulation 17 of the
Regulations "framed under the Indian Trade Unions Act, 1926, a
notiuo under auction 10(&) of the said Act waa issued to the said
Union to show cause, within two months of the service of tho notice,
why the certificatra of its registration should not be cancelled. The
period of tho notice expired on February 28, 1955. The annual
return for thfl year d^scribod above has not been furnished Pven
up to this date.

No cause having boen shown, the certificate of rogittration of the
Agra Unn er-aty non-Teachinp Staff Union, is hereby canceled
under section 10(&) of the Indian Trade Unions Act, 1926.

The President of the Union, Sn Ulfcit Bai Gupta, and the Ser-
retary, Sri K, C. Chaturvedi, arc also hereby warned that this timn
only the registration certificate of the Union is cancelled for non-
aubmiasion of the Return by the prescribed date. Tn future legal

WHEBEAS thf Businessmen Union, Dayalbagh Road, Dayalbagh,
Agra, registered under no. 1195 of 1053-54, as a Trade Union under
section R of the Indian Trade Unions Act, 1926 (XVI of 1926), con-
travened the provisions of section 28 of the «aid Act by failing to
submit to tin- undersigned its annual return for the year ending

cancelled The period of the notice expired on February 27, 1955.
The annual return for the year described above has not been fur
mshcd even up to this date.

No cdnse having bceu shown, the certificate of registration of the
Businessmen Union, Dayalbagh Road, Dayalbagh, Agra, is hereby
cancelled under section 10(6) of the Indian Trade Unions Act,
1926.

The President of the Union, Sn 0. P. Bisarya, and the Secretary
Sri Radha Ballabh, arp also hereby warned that this time only the
registration certificate of the Union ia cancelled for non-submiasion
of the Return by the prescribed date. In future legal action will
be taken against the office bearers of the Union, under section 31
of thn Indian Trade Unions Act, 1926, in the event of recurrence
of such a default.

WHEREAS the Supervisory Staff Association, Ordinance Factory
and Inspectorates, Kanpur, is registered as a Trade Union, under
the Indian Trado Unions Act, 1926 under no. 1270 of the year 1954
65, and a complaint waa received in my office to the effect that
this Union had ceased to exist and its accounts had not been main
tamed properly, consequently the Secretary of the Association was
aaked vide my office letter dated September 21, 1954, to present
himself in the office on October 1, 1954, along with necessary papers
for inspection but neither any offlepr of the Union presented himself
on the above date nor any reply was received from them- There
after th* Secretary of the Association was again asked, vid&
tab office registered acknowledgment due letter dated. November 4,
1954, to present himself for inspection on November 12, 1964 and
1'nfe another registered acknowledgment due letter date, November
213. 1954 he was asked to present on Decpmbrr 11, 1954. Again
iwro was no response from the offlcere of the Aaaooiatiqn.
