Agricultural Income Tax Act, 1948, I, S. N. Mehrotra, I.A.S , Collector ofBara Banki District, do hereby call upon every person, firm, undivided Hindu family, society trust or associa- tion other than a company as defined in tlse Indian Income Tax Act, 1922 (XI of 1922), whose agricultural income exceeds lis.4,200 to prepare a return and correct statement of his or its agricultural income during the previous year beginning from July 1, 1954, and ending on June 30, 1955, in Form no. A.LT.-3 and to deliver the same, where the income exceeds one lakh, at my office otherwise at the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer of the Sub-Division in which such person, firm, undivided, Hindu family, society, trust or as- sociation, as the case may be. resides or carries on business or situate, duly signed and verified in the manner indicated in the said form by him or it within thirty-five days of the publication of this notice. 2, Tjbe income to be returned is the (< total agri- cultural income *' as defined in section 2(16) of the U, P, Agricultural Income Tax Act, 1948. -, * 3. If any claim for depreciation is to be made necessary particulars in Form Annexure E to Form no. A.I.T.-3 should be furnished. 5. In accordance with the provisions of section 29 of the Act a return should be furnished— (a) in the case of a firm in Form no. A.I.T.-10, showing the names of the partners of the firm with their addresses, (b) in the caae of undivided Hindu family in Form no. A.I.T.-ll showing the names of the Manager or Karta along with the names of all adult male members of the family with their relationship and their addresses, or (c) in Form no. A.LT.-12 showing the names of any persons for or 011 behalf of whom you are trustee, Mutawalli, guardian, agent or represen- tative, with their addresses. 6. It should be accompanied by a declaration in Form A.I.T.-2 indicating the option as to the method of computation of your income under section 6.
