Assessment year 1955-53

1. In pursuance of the provisions of section I(3(1)
of the U. P. Agricultural Income Tax Act, 1948,
I, H. C. Saxena, i. A. fi., Collector of Moradabarl
District, do hereby call upon every parson, firm,
undivided Hindu family, society trust or associa-
tion other than a company as defined in the Indian
Income Tax Act, 1922 (XI of 1922), \vhuse agricultural
income exceeds Rs.4,200 to prepare a lofurn ami
correct statement of his or its agricultural income
during the previous year beginning from .Inly 1, 1954,
and ending on June 30, 1955, in form no. A I.T.-3 and to
deliver the same, where the income exceeds one lakh,
at my office otherwise at the office of the Sub-Divisional
officer of the Sub-division in which such person,
firm, undivided Hindu family, society, trust or As-
Hociation, as the case may be, resides or carries on
business or is situate, duly signed and verified in the
manner indicated in the said form by him or it within
thirty-five days of the publication of tins notice.

2.    The income to be returned is  the " total agri-
cultural income " as defined in section 2(16)   of the
U. P, Agricultural Innome Tax Act,  1948.

3.    The form contains instructions required for the
preparation of the return.   If any further information
is desired, it can be obtained at the office of the Assess-
ing Officer concerned.

4.    If any claim for depreciation is to   be made,
necessary particulars in form Annexure E  to  form
no. A.I.T.-3 should be furnished.

5.    In accordance with the provisions of section 29
of the Act a return should be furnished—

(a) in the case of a firm in form no. A.I.T.-10
showing the names of the partners of the firm
with their addresses ;

(6) in the case of en undivided Hindu family in
form no. A.T.T.-ll showing the names of the
Manager or Karta along with the names of all
adult male members of the family with their
relationship and their addresses ; or

(c)in form no. A.I.T.-12 showing the names
of any person for or on behalf of whom you are
a trustee, mutawalli, guardian, agent or repre-
sentative, with their addresses.

6. This return should be accompanied by a
declaration in form no. A.I.T.-2 indicating the option as
to the method of computation of your income under
section 6.

NOTE—The forms specified above can be had from the office of
the Assessing Officer concerned or in the A. I. T. Office Collec.
torate, Moradabad.

1. ]u pursuance of the provision* of section 15(1)
of the U. P. Agricultural Income Tax Act
1948,1, N. S. Sirohi, i. A. ft'., Collector of Shahja-
hanpur District, do hereby call upon every person
firm, undivided Hindu family, society, trust or asso-
ciation other than a company as defined in the Indian
Income Tax Act, 1922 (XI of 1922), whose agricul-
tural income exceeds lis.4,200 to propaie a return and
corredt statement of his or its agricultural income
during the previous year beginning from July 1, 1955
and ending on June 30, 1956 in form no. A. I. T -3
and to deliver the same, where the income exceeds
one lakh at my ofiico otherwise at tlio office of the
the Sub-Divisional Officer of the Sub-Division in
which such person, firm, undivided Hindu family,
society, trust or associfiti'on, as the case may be, resides
or carries on business or is situate, duly signed and
verified in the manner indicated in the said form
by him or it within thrity-five days of the publica-
tion of this notice.

2.    The income to be returned is the " total agri-
cultural income " as defined in section 2(16) of the
U. P. Agricultural Income Tax Act, 1948.

3.    The  form  contains  instructions  required for
the preparation    of the return.    If a ny further in-
formation is desirod, it can be obtained at the office
of the  Assessing  Officer  con corn eel.

4.    If any claim for depreciation is to be made
necessary particulars in form Annexure E  to fonn
no. A. 1. T.-3 should bo furnished.

5.    In accordance with the provisions of section
29 of the Act a return should be furnished__

(a) in the case of a firm in form no. A.I.T.-10
showing the names of the partners of the firm
with then? addresses,

(6) in the caso of an undivided Hindu family
in form no. A. I. T.-ll showing the names of
the Managor or Karta along with the names
of all adult male members of the family with
their relationship and their addresses; or

(c) in form no. A. I. T. -12 allowing the names
of any person for or on behalf of whom you
are a trustee, mutwalli, guardian, agent or
representative, with their addresses.

6.    This return should be accompanied by a decla-
ration in form no. A. I. T.-2 indicating the option as
to the method of computation of your income under
section 6.
