MONTHLY WEATHER REPORT OF UTTAR PRADESH FOR MARCH, 1955
Rainfall was 77 per cent in defect over the plains and 13 per cent in defect over the hills.
Fairly widespread raiu occurred in the Kumaun Hills on 1st and 2nd and scattered light rain on 3rd, 16th, 17th, 20th, 26th, and 29th. Over the plains
Blattered light rain occurred on 1st, 2nd and 17th. Otherwise weather remained dry during the month.
The Rainfall was in moderate defect in the Kumaun and Meerat Divisions and in large defect elsewhere.
While the mean monthly maximum and minimum temperatures were ahove normal, the relative humidity and cloud amounts were normal.
