10 (b) of the Indian Trade   Unions Act,
1926].

WHEREAS* tlia Mumuual Kaivimuhari (Saugh, Luukiiuw, which
is registered as a Trade Union under no. 751 of 1949-50,
did not produce its records for inspection by the Trade Unions Ins-
pector who visited the Union's office two times on January 31, ]B55,
rtnd February 13, 1935. after giving previous notice. The Secre-
tary -WR.H asked a third time to present himself in the office of the
Regional Conciliation Office, Luoknow, to show the records of tha
Union on September 5, 1955. The General Secretary Sn Gauga
Vishnu presented himself in the Regional Conciliate n Office on the
above date but he did not bring the Union's Registration Certi-
ficate with htm. He had. neither a certified copy of the Constitu-
tion nor the admission forms filled in by ita members. The Union
had also no cash-book no vouchers and no proceedings book. Only
names of 13ti ordinary members were -written in a register but the
names of the honorary members were not written in it, nor any
Nubscnption was realized from them. In the last year, subscrip-
tion had been realized, at the rate of Rs,3 per annum instead of the
quarterly subscription of annas i aa provided in the Constitutions
without getting any change of rate of subscription - registered
m my office. This year the subscription had not been realised
from the members for five months although the membership of
the Union ceases if the subscription falls in arrear for two months
after the quarterly due date. From the above facts it appears that
the Sangh has ceased to exist.

Therefore, a notice under section 10(b) of the Indian Trade Unions
Act, 19*26, is given to the aforesaid Union to ahow cause to the under-
higned on or before the expiry of two months from the date of re-
ceipt of the notice, why the certificate of registration granted to it
shall not be cancelled on the ground that the Union is functioning
constitutionally and now it has ceased to exist.

WHBBEAH the Tenri-Garhwal Motor Mazdoor Sangb, Rishikeah,
DehraDun, registered as a Trade Union under no. 776 of the
year 194fl-5U has committed a breach of section 28 of the Indian
Trade Unions Act, 1926 (XVI of 1926), read with regulation 17
of the Regulations under the said Act by failing to submit to the
undersigned a correct Annual Heturnforthe year ended with the
3 1st March, 1955, by the prescribed date, viz. the 31st of July,

tion failing which the same shall proceed ex parte.
