BETTER HOMES

Toy BETTER, METHODS

F AC T ORY- BUILT

LLnca£n\jHxnneA.

"Better homes by better methods" ... is the reason that Lincoln Homes
are now rated as one of America's finest factory built homes! The Lincoln
Homes factory located in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, comprises over 70,000
square feet of level working area, all under roof.

Each Lincoln Home is the result of specially designed, efficient produc-
tion methods. A 370-foot assembly line carries exterior wall panels to com-
pletion. Precision power tools-and automatic machine equipment reduce
assembly time to less than one half of previous building methods.

Volume purchasing provides top-quality lumber and the finest of "name
brand" component parts at the very lowest possible price. All materials are
handled and stored under roof in Lincoln's completely enclosed warehouse
facilities.

Efficiency of organization that is achieved only through years of experi-
ence brings you the finest home at lowest possible cost.

YOU SAVE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
WHEN YOU BUILD A LINCOLN HOME!

These factory photographs show
what we mean tvhen we say

BETTER HOMES by BETTER METHODS"

Lincoln Homes are engineered and design-
tested to give you the finest quality— save
you hundreds of dollars in construction costs.

Carload purchasing of quality materials
guarantees the initial saving on your Lincoln
Home.

All lumber is stored under roof, assuring you
of a sounder, sturdier Lincoln Home.

Power saws precision cut joists, studs and
rafters assuring exact fit, speedier erection.

Exterior wall panels are pre-engineered and
assembled on jigs in the factory, giving your
home the finest quality carpenter work.

Here's a completed exterior wall panel, con-
structed of %" beveled redwood siding . . .
completed at a fraction of the time and cost
required by conventional on-site methods.

Doors, hinged to precision cut jambs, include
all weather-stripping and locking hardware.

A prime coat of quality oil base paint is
applied at the factory, saving hours of time,
labor and material.

And here is your Lincoln Home, completely
ready for assembly, being loaded for de-
livery to your foundation.

HEATHER

Size 28'x50'; 1176 Sq. Ft. Living Area

A glass gable rising roof-high to the
slanted studio ceiling, with exposed beam,
makes the Heather a truly unusual home.

The Heather represents modern styl-
ing at its very best. An entire wall of
glass, with sliding glass doors opens onto
a covered patio.

Adding to the Heather's distinction is
the studio-type living room with exposed
beam. Bedrooms have roomy "walk-in"
sliding door closets and the kitchen fea-
tures a U-shaped breakfast bar.

Exterior elevations are handsomely
finished in brick combined with vertical
plywood and batten strips.
