Novelties which you may be unable to find therein.

We feel confident that our departure from is-
suing a condensed price-list, and placing before our
patrons this comprehensive catalogue, may be ap-
preciated, and we trust that this copy may be used
as a constant reference book, whether goods are
purchased personally, or whether ordered by letter,

A WORD ABOUT CHARACTER DOLLS

The introduction of these Dolls marks an entirely new departure in Doll-Making. The originators'
aim has been to part with the more or less stereotype form of Doll and to create an article
with PLAIN but REAL and LIFE-LIKE FEATURES, giving each Doll a distinct individuality.
The bodies are made of Papier Mache and jointed.

Told to the Children Series

This series, now in its sixth year, has more than fulfilled the promise of the publish-
ers when they announced the first volumes. Children want and clamor for a "true
story," and nothing- fills this childish demand so fully and thoroughly as the retelling
of a classic. In this little series every volume is a retold classic, charmingly simple,
yet appreciative and convincing.

Every volume printed on pure white rag paper, with bold clear type, and illustrated
with eight full-page colored plates by well-known artists. Cloth covers with colored
siding. Size 5 x 6}{. 50c. per volume.
