Congratulations to the Curry College Class of 2004!

As President of your College, I am both pleased and proud
to bring you the congratulations of the entire Curry College
Community, and specifically the faculty and staff who have
had the opportunity to serve and learn with you over the
past years.

You have been students at Curry College during an
exciting period in our history. This has been a period of
great growth and success across all areas of the

College-academic, physical, financial, and in our reputation and prominence.

You should be proud of that, you have contributed to it. Thank you for being a part

of it.

Curry College continues to grow in promise and prestige each passing year. As
Alums you have a keen interest in the continued development and success of your
College, and I would urge you to please stay involved with us. Keep the Alumni
Office informed of your current contact information, and we'll do our best to make
sure that you know what is occurring both at your College and with your
classmates. You can email the Alumni Office at alumni@curry.edu .

Congratulations on all the success you have achieved to date. Best wishes for
much continued success.

Sincerely,

Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr.

Amethyet Yearbook Dedication
Mike Randall

The Amethyst staff and the graduating class
of 2004 would like to dedicate their yearbook
to Michael Randall.

For the past three years, Mike has worked in
the Office of Student Activities, and has been
Director of Student Activities and Orientation
since 2002.

Mike is a huge part of campus life. In overseeing the
Student Activities office, he is largely responsible for
almost all events that take place on campus. Mike also
has his hand in many different areas of Curry life, from
teaching Experiential Learning and First Year Seminar,
to leading Student Government and serving as a role
model for the leaders of tomorrow.

Whatever work needs to be done, Mike says, "I'll be there." Whether the job is big
or small, Mike will help out in a pinch, from planning Alternative Spring Break, to
making balloon animals for kids at Family Weekend.

As anyone who works closely with him knows, Mike is here for one reason ~ the
community and students of Curry College. Each day Mike tries harder than the day
before to make the experience of every student that comes through the front gate
the best it can be.

Mike's office door is always wide open. He is always willing to answer any question
the best he can, or just to chat about life. Mike's unconditional guidance, support,
and love for everyone around him make him a campus favorite.

"Nothing lasts forever, not the mountains nor the seas, but the times we've had together,

"And when he shall die take him and cut him out in little stars,
and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night
and pay no worship to garnish the sun" (Andrea "Shorty" Levy for Jordan and Jeremy)

"We met as total strangers and ended as lifetime friends. We shared a season of our lives,
but every season has to end"- Unknown.

Jordan Vogel: The best roommate and friend
anyone could possible ask for. For the short
time Jordan and I actually got to spend with
each other at Curry, there were many special
moments that will never leave my heart and I
will cherish them forever. He was the most
understanding and easy-going person I have
ever met. I learned many things from Jordan
about life and for those things I am very thank-
ful. On behalf of his mother, friends, and myself
I would just like to say that you are in our hearts
forever. I miss you — Brad Rybko (Jordan's
roommate, freshman year)

2004 Amethyst

Colophon

Three hundred copies of this 240-page yearbook
were printed by Jostens, Inc. out of their State
College, PA plant in a limited run. Senior por-
traits were provided by McGrath Studios,
Braintree, MA. Pictures were provied to us by
either student submission, staff photographers,
Justin Knight Photography, Scott Metzger Stu-
dios, or through Curry's Institutional Advance-
ment. Printing representative was Tara Ander-
son.

The book was printed on Mead 100# gloss paper
and distributed to all graduating seniors at no
charge. These pages were created using Adobe
Pagemaker 6.5 and Jostens Yeartech on a PC
platform.

The cover was designed by Jostens design artist
Rick Brooks and the Amethyst Staff. The name of
the yearbook, the Amethyst, was originated this
year by this staff. The name was picked because
it is the February Birthstone, purple, Curry's
main color.
