Dedication:
Lois Wallace
Student Information Representative
Lois Wallace is regarded by the students at Curry College
as Mother Curry. Lois always brings a smile to all students
who enter the Drapkin Student Center. Whether it is
movie tickets, quarters for laundry, or just the wealth
of knowledge that Lois shares, all students have fond
stories of their interactions with Lois. Lois works with
the Office of Student Activities and is always on the front
line with students providing information about what is
happening at Curry College. It is with great pleasure that
the Curry College Class of 2006 honors Lois Wallace with
this dedication.

The Colonels have a legacy of fine hockey to maintain,
and once again proved that they were up to the challenge,
playing all of the way into the ECAC Northeast Semi-Finals.
Competing in one of the toughest Division III conferences,
the ECAC Northeast, the Colonels finished with a 1 5-1 0-1
season for the year.
They also have one of the finest practice and game
facilities in the New England region -the Max D. Ulin Rink
in Milton.

You became my shining star the day
you were born, May 28, 1984. Your
eyes were wide open and you were
ready to go. You never slept and
followed that pattern 'till this day
Everything you have done was done
with enthusiasm, whether it be
academically musically or athletically
you always excelled. Football was
your favorite and best attribute.
Writing became another I could not
wait for my Mother's Day Birthday
and Christmas letters. Music and
dance were another, even when you
took dancing lessons at five years
old, and are still dancing in college.
Even though you are a man and
graduating from college, I will always
be there for you. I am very proud
of you, and you will always be my
shining star
I love you!

WOW! We're amazed how quickly these past four years have
gone by. We feel as if we just dropped you off that first day. We are
really proud of how well you've done. We know it took effort and a
lot of work to get to this point. I'm sure you'll have many pleasant
memories about your time at Curry, savor them.
You've grown so much since you started college and we like the
young man that you've become. You're a pleasure to be around.
Your sense of humor and ability to clearly understand people and
situations are important traits that will help you as you go through
life.
It's time to being another chapter of your life. You have many
opportunities and directions that you can take. It's exciting and may
seem a little overwhelming at this time. Don't be concerned, you'll
find the way that's best suited for you. We're confident that you
will be happy in future endeavours and remember you'll always
have our support. We can't wait to read your published writings
and make copies for all of our friends.
Lots of love from your happy and proud parents.

The 2006 Amethyst yearbook was printed by
Jostens, fric. in their State College, PA plant. This
54th volume consists of 220 pages and has a
press run of 275 copies. The cover was designed
by Rick Brooks, Jostens Creative Accounts
Designer. Photos for the cover came from
Institutional Advancement at Curry College.
Covers were printed on 100% gloss stock,
using four-color process inks, then laminated
and grained with "linen." The entire book was
printed on 100# gloss paper and sewn using
sixteen-page signatures. All pages were created
using hiDesign CS and Jostens Yeartech. All
senior portraits were taken by McGrath Studios,

McGrath Studios was contracted by Curry
College to be the official photographer for the
2006 Amethyst. Any other photos were taken
by fellow staff members or were submitted by
Curry students. Sports photos were provided by

members.
