honors
With love and esteem, we, the Senior
Class of 1955, dedicate this edition of the
Buffalo to Miss Mildred Welshimer.
As Dean of Students, Miss Welshimer
has served the Milligan family well. Her
work with the Christian Service Club and
the Service Seekers has been outstanding.
We are proud to dedicate this annual to
one whose Christian witness has influenced
each of us and has helped us to find that
Milligan truly is "A Way of Life."

tennis
After getting a preliminary look at the
tennis team during fall practice, the out-
look for the coming season seems to be the
brightest in several years. Miss Mynatt has
four returning lettermen around whom to
build her team. Sixteen matches have been
scheduled.
The lettermen are, Left to Right: Marvin Swiney, Gerald
Hughes, John Hand, and Don Williams.

girls' basketball
Although they didn't have a perfect
season, the Buffettes enjoyed meeting and
playing other schools in the area. After all,
records don't mean everything. As many of
the members are freshmen, we see a more
successful team in the future.
The team is coached by Miss Mynatt
with Shirley Dougherty as captain.
Left to Right: Miss Constance Mynatt, coach; Pat Bonner, Pat Roberts, Delores Heyser, Bertie
Watson, Mildred Rutherford, Shirley Dougherty, Diane Walker, Alice Jerrnyn, Roxann Henderson,
Judy Reutebuch, Betty Stout, Barbara Smith and Sue Roush, manager.
